In 2022, YWCA Saskatoon turned away a staggering 4,253 women and children in need of safe shelter and support. This led to the launch of Hope Lives Here, a $19 million capital campaign aimed at significantly expanding the organization’s transitional housing capacity, repairing and renovating current shelter facilities and expanding and improving employment and learning services.
With a goal of raising $1 million for Hope Lives Here, The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association, along with Title Sponsor, Nu-Fab Building Products, and lead design firm, William Wolf Design Studio, have committed to building a She-Shed, which will be raffled off in Fall of 2024. The She-Shed project, nicknamed ‘Sunshine Cottage’, made her debut at the HomeStyles Home Show the weekend of March 15th, 2024!
Raffle tickets are available for purchase until October 2024, with the grand prize draw to be held on the last day of the 2024 Parade of Homes.
