News & Events from the YWCA

We’re talking women.

This is your invitation to meet local Saskatoon candidates in the federal election and hear them speak on their commitments to women’s issues.

If you care about quality childcare, preventing violence against women and girls, affordable housing, sustainable employment, sexual and reproductive rights, ending racism, Indigenous equality and rights, and economic equality and security, then the Canadian federal election matters to you.

Come out on Wednesday, October 7th and talk women at the YWCA Saskatoon Candidates’ Forum.

The forum will be moderated by Heather Persson, Editor, Saskatoon StarPhoenix. To date, candidates confirmed include: Cynthia Block (Liberal Party), Claire Card (NDP), Val Harvey (Green Party).
