Thanks to the generosity of our donors we have raised an incredible $19 million dollars.

We are thrilled to share that we’ve reached our $19M fundraising target! While this milestone is a huge achievement, the work doesn’t stop here. Operational costs and ongoing funding for our wraparound programs remain essential to ensure we continue providing critical services to women, children, and our community.

From offering hope, safety, and shelter to equipping clients with skills for sustainable employment, our programs are designed to foster emotional wellness and economic independence. These services transform lives, turning hope into a brighter, more stable future.

Your support makes this possible. Help us sustain these vital programs—donate today.

Hope Lives Here set out to achieve three goals:

(1) Construction of a new transitional housing wing, adding 35 units, 71 beds, and larger rooms to accommodate children staying with their mothers, as well as specific space for Indigenous-led healing, medicine and trauma-informed support. We are thrilled to report the expansion is well underway with an expected completion date of Fall 2024 ($12.38M).

(2) Repair and renovate critical aspects of our current shelter and facility over the next 5-10 years to meet building code standards, including the pressing need for a new roof ($4.17M).

(3) Expand and streamline our Employment and Learning Centre, supporting shelter and housing clients along with other community members in gaining sustainable employment ($2.45M).
