This holiday season, the YWCA Saskatoon is promoting HOPE: Happiness, Opportunity, Progress, and Empowerment.
As the holidays approach and we begin to settle into the giving season, it is often easy to forget that there are many in our community who struggle this time of year. Some people are fleeing domestic violence, some are trying to find shelter for themselves and their children for the night, and some are struggling with addictions and mental health issues without any support. This time of year can be a difficult time for many at-risk members of our community. By supporting the YWCA Saskatoon, you can help us provide the tools, programming, and supports necessary to uplift and empower women, youth, and children in need in Saskatoon.
Donations help fund our various channels of support that we offer to the community. Whether it is a shelter bed and food for a mother in need, crafting and gardening supplies for our Child Development Centre, gym equipment and cleaning supplies for Fitness on 25th, or facilitating courses offered by the Employment and Learning Centre like the Job Search Program, your generous donation will find a home where it is needed most.
The YWCA Saskatoon’s HOPE Campaign is focusing on empowering and supporting those in need this year. No donation is too large or too small to make a difference in the life of someone this holiday season.
