With staff available 24/7, YWCA Saskatoon offers up to 30 days of emergency shelter for all women and children who are in need of a safe place to stay. Our Crisis Shelter & Residence is an inclusive, accepting and judgement-free space with resources to match various circumstances including domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues.

Women & Families
Through parenting, nutrition and cultural programming, stronger personal connections and overall health and wellness are nurtured.
Youth
At our youth residence, Margaret’s Place, youth ages 16-21 are supported in developing vital emotional, social and practical skills to help them succeed as adults.
Turning Points
Turning Points is a one-year transitional housing program that focuses on women who are ready to make a change through building stable foundations and sustainable futures.

To help ease the burden for women and children in need our Crisis Shelter & Residence provides:
- Basic food and personal items
- Crisis counselling
- Assistance with conflict resolution
- Connections to legal resources and educational supports
- Referrals to medical professionals if required
- Advocacy on behalf of the woman and/or child
- Public Health Access
- Access to Community Service Village agencies
- Access to the Fitness on 25th facility
- Opportunity to participate in community dinners and movie nights
