Sekai Musoki
Sekai is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a degree in Civil Engineering, grew up in a Zimbabwean mining town. Having firsthand experience overcoming race, gender, and immigration barriers in Canada, they are passionate about contributing to a more equitable society. Sekai serves as a board member with Women in Mining (WIM) Canada and is actively involved with WIM/WIN SK. They also co-founded BHP’s women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) in Saskatchewan, reflecting their strong commitment to advancing gender equity and addressing women’s issues. Sekai’s mission is to be a visible and inspirational figure, particularly for women and BIPOC individuals, wherever they may be. Their dedication to mentoring, creating inclusive learning environments, and sharing their own experiences with colleagues from diverse backgrounds has made a meaningful impact in breaking down barriers and promoting diversity.
