Day of Caring® is all about community building made real.
It’s an opportunity for businesses, organizations and their employees to spend a day working directly with the agencies and programs that help people in Saskatoon. It’s a special chance to interact with the staff and the volunteers who deliver services to your community.
Day of Caring is a United Way initiative. This year, Shell Canada staff are returning to the YWCA Crisis Shelter and Residence to clean and paint the patios used by residents throughout the summer and then host a BBQ for the residents and their children. This is a special day for the Shelter as it gets some much needed TLC and its residents are treated to a special lunch. Thanks to Shell Canada for supporting us!
