Become a Donor

YWCA Saskatoon is a charitable organization that relies on the generous support of donors, funders and volunteers to continue our critical work in the areas of domestic violence, homelessness and poverty.

We strive to support women and their families who have reached turning points in their lives. These women and their children are often fleeing domestic violence, homeless or living in poverty. Through our crisis shelter, employment and learning programs, child care and fitness facilities, we seek to empower women in transition and help them become successful and independent.

Ways You Can Help:

Personal Donations

our financial gifts are a vital piece of our fund raising efforts. Your donations ensure that our work can continue as we move toward financial sustainability and strive to break the cycles of domestic violence, homelessness and poverty that affect the community of Saskatoon.

You can give online or by calling 306-244-7034 ext. 122. MasterCard, Visa, personal, business or organizational cheque, or automated bank account debit are all accepted forms of payment.

To donate online click here. Or send your cheque or completed donation form to:

Ways to give:
Corporate donations
Corporate sponsorships

Event Sponsorship (create link over to WODAD)

For more information please contact Director of Development & Communications at development@ywcasaskatoon.com or 306-244-7034 ext. 132.

Gifts in Kind

YWCA Saskatoon is happy to accept gift in kind donations when arrangements have been made prior to donation drop-off. Due to very limited storage space, we are unable to accept general donations. See our shelter needs list to see our specific needs today.

We are unable to issue tax receipts for used item donations.

Tax receipts may be issued for the donation of new items when receipts are included and/or items with formally appraised values. Please contact Development and Communications at development@ywcasaskatoon.com or 306-244-7034 ext. 132 for more information.

YWCA wishes to thank all our supporters for financial support which allows us to ensure we can move women and their families out of violence, homelessness and poverty and into safe and economically stable lives.

Planned and Tribute Giving

You can leave a lasting legacy for the women of Saskatoon by making a planned gift to YWCA Saskatoon. Planned gifts provide you with tax benefits and ensure that the YWCA can continue to provide services and programs to the women and children who need them most.

Making a life-time gift, such as a bequest, life insurance, trusts, securities, property or endowment, requires planning, consultation and tax considerations. Planned-gift donors are encouraged to have their plans reviewed by their professional advisors.

I have made a planned gift and want YWCA Saskatoon to know about it!

Volunteering

Volunteers are a vital part of the YWCA Saskatoon. By sharing your time and talents with us, you join a team of individuals who are making a difference for families fleeing domestic violence, homelessness and poverty.

We offer a number of rewarding volunteer opportunities from Board positions to special event volunteers. Contact us to see how you can contribute to empowering women.
